Rescue workers have found at least seven people dead and are searching for more bodies in a massive mudslide on the outskirts of Guatemala City.
The spokesman for the national disaster prevention agency says a hillside collapsed on homes after heavy rains.
David de Leon says several houses were buried by dirt, mud and rocks in the village of Cambray, about 10 miles (15 kms) east of the capital.
De Leon said Friday that 25 people were injured and at least 68 homes were damaged.
Police and soldiers were participating in the rescue efforts.
