2 killed, 50 injured in 5.0 magnitude quake in South Pakistan
At least two people were killed and 50 wounded when an earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale jolted Pakistan\’s Sindh province early Friday, authorities said.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the 4.3-magnitude quake hit 12 kilometers north of the city of Nawabshah on Friday.
Police say the quake\’s early morning shaking toppled the roofs of many houses while the residents were asleep.
An emergency has been declared at the local hospital.
