Twin bomb blasts hit Indian train

Twin bombs planted on a train killed at least one person and wounded nine others in the main southern Indian city of Chennai on Thursday, a railway official said.
Authorities said the two explosions early Thursday morning were in two sleep coaches on the Bangalore-Guwahati Express train.
A 22-year-old woman was killed when one of the devices which had been placed underneath her seat exploded. Train services in the station are temporarily suspended.
Police are investigating what they suspect were bombs planted under passenger seats. Dogs are sniffing around the crime scene and checking passengers\’ luggage for explosives.
No one has claimed responsibility for the blasts, which come amid heightened security for India\’s massive general election.
