Dozens killed in series of blasts in Iraq

A suicide bomber with an explosives belt attacked the main gate of a Shiite private college while three militants attacked the back gate, leaving several people dead and over a dozen people wounded.
A suicide bomber and several gunmen targeted Imam al-Kadhim University, killing five people and wounding more than 13 others.
 
Medical officials confirmed causality figures, but there was no official statement on the violence.
 
There were no immediate claims of responsibility for the bombings, but violence across Iraq has increased as militants look to undermine the Shi\’ite-led government ahead of the parliamentary election on April 30.
