Macedonians voted for a new president on Sunday in a poll seen as a test for the ruling party ahead of general elections later this month in the EU candidate country.

Incumbent President Gjorge Ivanov is one of four candidates seeking the largely ceremonial post.
If no candidate wins more than 50 percent of the votes cast Sunday, the two top rivals will go head-to-head in a runoff on April 27 when the parliamentary elections will also be held.
