Gunmen killed one person and wounded four others in an attack Tuesday on anti-government protesters, in the latest violence in Thailand\’s long political crisis, authorities said.
The shootings Tuesday in Bangkok are the latest political violence to hit Thailand since opposition protests broke out in November.
A total of 24 people have been killed with hundreds more wounded.
The protesters are calling for Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra to step down, saying her government is hopelessly corrupt.
