The attackers targeted a busy bus stop and a food kiosk in Eastleigh.
A blast in Eastleigh, the main Somali district of the Kenyan capital Nairobi, has killed at least six people.
Kenyan newspapers report that police carried out nighttime raids in the Eastleigh neighborhood of Nairobi, an area with a large Somali immigrant population.
In a statement, Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Lenku called the bombings "barbaric" and said the security operation will continue until those responsible for the bombings are caught.
At least 25 people were wounded in the Monday evening blasts, which hit two restaurants and the exterior of a women\’s health clinic.
Although no group said it was behind the latest attack, many are blaming it on the Somali militant group al-Shabab.
The Somali militant group al-Shabab has long threatened to attack Kenya unless the country withdraws its troops from southern Somalia.
Al-Shabab claimed responsibility for the attack on Nairobi\’s Westgate Mall last September, in which at least 67 people were killed.
