The International Criminal Court on Thursday began laying out 70 charges of war crimes against notorious Lord\’s Resistance Army commander Dominic Ongwen, including keeping sex slaves and recruiting child soldiers.
"In this case the prosecution brings 70 charges against Dominic Ongwen," judge Cuno Tarfusser said, as prosecutors seek to convince judges they have enough evidence to proceed to trial.
Ongwen replied however that reading out the charges was "a waste of time".
