At least 4 reportedly killed after earthquake hits China

An earthquake has hit a remote mountainous part of southwest China near the popular tourist area of Shangri-La, triggering landslides that killed have killed at least 4 people and injured 10 others. 

Authorities say the earthquake, which the U.S. Geological Survey said was a 5.8 magnitude quake, shook several counties Saturday in Yunnan province. 
Xinhua, the state news agency, says the earthquake toppled 600 homes and damaged 55,000 other residences, forcing more than 9,000 people to relocate.
The agency says the earthquake cut off communications with some affected areas.
