Another major earthquake has hit southwestern Pakistan, killing at least 15 people in a region already devastated by a massive quake four days ago.
Authorities say casualties may continue to rise. Saturday\’s quake in the Awaran district of Baluchistan province, technically an aftershock of Tuesday\’s catastrophic shock, was a major jolt in itself.

The U.S. Geological Survey reported the quake as 6.8 magnitude, while the Pakistani Meteorological Department measured the earthquake at 7.2 magnitude.
A 7.7-magnitude earthquake hit the area Tuesday, leveling houses and burying people under the rubble.
Reuters news agency reports shots were fired at two helicopters Friday that were carrying relief supplies.
Baluchistan is home to several Baluch nationalist groups that demand greater rights and a share of gas and mineral revenues.
The death toll from an earthquake in southwestern Pakistan has reached 515, a provincial official said Friday, as insurgent attacks threaten relief efforts and survivors complain of lack of shelter from the scorching sun.
