US beats Czech Republic 2-1 to reach semifinals at worlds Thu, 19 May, 2016

The United States reached the semifinals of the hockey world championship on Thursday with a 2-1 shootout win over the Czech Republic. Auston Matthews scored the only goal in the shootout and also scored in the second period to tie the game. Tomas Zohorna had put the Czechs in front with a penalty shot.
