Ref: Case no 1:RAJENDER PAUDEL

Requesting HELP from all my fellow human beings to help my severely sick son by donating generously and helping him live a normal life.
Age: 6 years
Father’s Name: Mukunda Raj Paudel
Address: Kalyanpur ward Number: 7, Chitwan, Nepal
Hospital where admitted: KANTI BAL HOSPITAL
City/Country of treatment: Maharajgunj, Kathmandu, Nepal.

Treatment needed for:

  1. Hydrocephalus is a medical condition in which there is an abnormal accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) in the ventricles, or cavities, of the brain. This may cause increased intracranial pressure inside the skull and progressive enlargement of the head, convulsion, tunnel vision, and mental disability. Hydrocephalus can also cause death. Hydrocephalus means "water on the brain" the name being derived from the Greek words ὑδρο- (hudro-) "water", and κέφαλος (kephalos) "head".
  2. Kidney failure: Also known as Renal failure or renal insufficiency describes a medical condition in which the kidneys fail to adequately filter toxins and waste products from the blood. It is described as a decrease in glomerular filtration rate. Biochemically, renal failure is typically detected by an elevated serum creatinine level.
Problems frequently encountered in kidney malfunction include abnormal fluid levels in the body, deranged acid levels, abnormal levels of potassium, calcium, phosphate, and (in the longer term) anemia as well as delayed healing in broken bones. Depending on the cause, hematuria (blood loss in the urine) and proteinuria (protein loss in the urine) may occur. Long-term kidney problems have significant repercussions on other diseases, such as cardiovascular disease.

Cost of hospital and operation / medicines: 12,950 €
